Linda Sarsour, the organizer of the Women’s March, is a Palestinian-American Muslim who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a self-proclaimed intersectional feminist and civil rights activist. She was also in an arranged marriage at 17 years old. Despite her claims of being a champion for women and other so-called marginalized groups, at best, she has an unsettling history.
In a now-deleted tweet from 2011, Linda Sarsour tweeted that she wanted to take the v@g!n@$ away from Brigitte Gabriel, a Lebanese-American immigrant and survivor of radical Islamic terrorism, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, an ex-Muslim who was a victim of genital mutilation. Both Brigitte Gabriel and Ayanna Hirsi Ali have been long-time critics of Linda Sarsour and radical Islam.
In addition, before her rise to fame, Linda Sarsour endorsed Sharia Law on Twitter many times. However, many of these tweets have been deleted. Sharia Law is best known for regulating modes of public behavior. For example, under Sharia Law, theft is punishable by amputation of the hands. Also, women who are raped are not allowed to testify in court and need four male witnesses to prove a sexual assault or rape allegation. If a woman fails to provide four male witnesses, she is presumed guilty of adultery, which is punishable by death. However, a man who is guilty of rape may have his conviction dismissed if he marries his victim.
In addition, the following are punishable by death.
- criticizing the Quran, Muhammad, or Allah
- leaving the Muslim faith
- a non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from the faith
- a Muslim woman marrying a non-Muslim man is punishable by death
Sharia Law in incompatible with western values, such as free speech, due process, equal opportunity, individualism, and liberty.
Besides advocating for Sharia Law, Sarsour has sympathized with many terrorist leaders. For example, following the death of Saddam Hussein, Sarsour said,
“I think he’s done a lot of things he shouldn’t have done, but I was hurt. My Arab pride was hurt… Palestinians are under so much oppression and no other Arab country ever helped them.” – Linda Sarsour
According to The Daily Wire, Sarsour once stated that Siraj Wahhaj, who is linked to the 1993 World Trade Center bombings, is her “favorite person” at a pro-Muslim convention. In addition, Sarsour admires Rasmea Odeh, who faces a life sentence in Israel for her part in a plan to bomb the British consulate in Jerusalem and a bombing at a Jerusalem grocery store that resulted in two deaths and nine injuries.
Linda Sarsour is also against a two-state solution for Israel, believing the country should cease to exist. She told Haaretz,
“My hope is that it will be one state, one man one vote, that everyone is treated equally.” – Linda Sarsour
Additionally, during Linda Sarsour’s time as an executive director at the Arab American Association, she was accused of enabling sexual assault. Asmi Fathelbab told The Daily Caller that Sarsour attacked her upon reporting the sexual assault allegations, even body-shaming her. According to Fathelbab, Sarsour threatened legal and professional action if the allegations would ever be made public. Fathelbab alleges that her attacker would sneak behind her and grope her at work. Despite these allegations, Sarsour was an advocate for the #BelieveAllWomen movement following the sexual misconduct allegations against now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“I ran the youth program in the building and with that comes bending down and talking to small children. You have no idea what it was like to stand up and feel that behind you. I couldn’t scream because I didn’t want to scare the child in front of me. It left me shaking.” – Asmi Fathelbab
At the 2017 Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) convention in Chicago, Sarsour called for a ‘jihad’ against President Trump, even arguing against assimilation into American culture. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, jihad is “a holy war waged on behalf of Islam as a religious duty.”
“Our number one and top priority is to protect and defend our community, it is not to assimilate and please any other people and authority.” – Linda Sarsour
In early 2018, Sarsour attacked Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for being a white man, declaring that she is “tired of white men negotiating on the backs of people of color and communities like ours.” This quote was in reference to Senator Schumer trying to compromise with Senate Republicans on immigration reform.
Despite her disgusting history, the American left loves Linda Sarsour. On Twitter, Senator Bernie Sanders endorsed the Women’s March and claimed Sarsour was helping to build the progressive movement. In addition, despite previously stating that former President Obama “has been terrible on civil rights issues,” the former president awarded her a “Champions of Change” award.

One thing is for sure, if Linda Sarsour is the modern face of feminism, I want nothing to do with it.
